Do you need to understand how a potter makes a vase?
He took the shapeless clay, placed it on the thrush and, little by little, formed the shape of the vase. This is how God wants to work in our lives, in us. transforming it into something much stronger, more valuable and serving a purpose of the Kingdom of God than we could be alone.
But do we accept God’s mold?
However, Lord, You are our Father. We are clay; you are a potter. We are all the work of his hands. Isaiah 6:8 We are all created by God with great potential. Just like clay can take many different forms, each life is unique and has a specific purpose. God has a plan for our lives and wants us to shape in this plan.
But often we don't want to be clay. We want to be potters!
We want to be in control of our life, to decide what it will be like. No We want God's interference. We believe we can shape ourselves without help, following our own path.
But we are clay! Despite our best efforts, we cannot
we managed to achieve the perfection of the complete VASE. We maintain a large amount of wasted potential. We need a potter.
