PROLOGUE
They had very little chance of ever meeting.
He was on an Asian continent… famous, idolized, surrounded by cameras, security, and million-dollar contracts.
She, in South America… anonymous, overlooked… and dangerously creative.
(Which was already a sign of trouble.)
Nothing in common.
No paths crossing.
No real possibility.
That’s what any normal person would say.
But someone… with too much free time, questionable ethics, and access to the wrong technology…
decided to test a theory.
Not about love.
Not about destiny.
But about control.
And did it in the most absurd way possible:
Through quantum physics.
(As if that wasn’t complicated enough already.)
It worked.
Until someone… stepped into the fiction itself.
Someone stopped being a character.
And someone stopped being the author.
And when that happens…
even the impossible stops being improbable.
(It also tends to get… very messy.)
